    Fair Opportunity Project

    Fair Opportunity Project is a nationally-focused nonprofit with a mission to empower students to access and afford college.

    I joined the founding team in early 2018 and have served as Executive Director since 2022.

    Fair Opp uses data and website optimization to find and serve students in every state with virtual advising on all aspects of the college application and financial aid process.

    Fair Opportunity Project’s resources have been accessed by over 600,000 users across 204 countries since its start in 2017 and has been featured in CNBC, the New York Times, Kiplinger’s, the Harvard Ed Magazine, and the Harvard Gazette.

    DebtSmarts: The Wisconsin Coalition on Student Debt

    DebtSmarts serves as Wisconsin’s only statewide nonprofit focused exclusively on student debt. We are a nonpartisan organization providing services and resources to help Wisconsinites minimize student debt and effectively manage any student debt they acquire.

    DebtSmarts provides a free, confidential student loan helpline, webinars, scholarships, media interviews and actionable tips.

    I served as a board member from 2019-2023 and assumed the role of Executive Director in 2023.

    DebtSmarts represents a coalition of over 20 multi-sector partners who share their expertise and resources to advance the mission.

Capitalizing on over 100 years of combined experience of our partner organizations, LIFT Wisconsin provides efficient, technology-driven legal assistance to clear civil legal barriers to economic prosperity for Wisconsin families.

    The Wisconsin College and Career Attainment Network (WisCCAN) is a new statewide initiative bringing together education, workforce, nonprofit, and public-sector leaders to improve college access, credential attainment, and career outcomes for all Wisconsinites.

    Latino Academy of Workforce Development

    Latino Academy started in 2010 to address an emerging need in Dane County, Wisconsin for bilingual, culturally competent adult education programming that leads to better employment. The Latino Academy Approach starts with personalized education and career plans combined with continuous wraparound support services for success before, during, and after the training process.

    Primordial Multicultural Healing Community

    Connecting our Latinx community with their own capacity to improve well-being using mindfulness and contemplative practices, and somatic (body-based) awareness techniques. With generous support from the Kataly Foundation, Primordial MHC integrates accessible mindfulness programs and practices into the workplace, expanding the equitable reach of well-being for those who face the traumas of discrimination and the struggles of immigration.
